Practice 4A Purpose

BAM FAM! Our community is important to us here at BAM and we would like your help in giving back. Therefore, we are having our 2ND ANNUAL OVERNIGHT PRACTICE WEEKEND CHARITY EVENT! Mark your calendars for JULY 22ND &23RD WITH GATES OPENING FRIDAY NIGHT, JULY 21ST AT 5PM for BAM's 2ND ANNUAL PRACTICE 4 A PURPOSE with THE MY AUTO GROUP. Practice will be from 9AM-2PM.  This will work like a race weekend. When you come in on Friday, you will pay for the weekend. If you leave Saturday evening by 3pm, you will be reimbursed for Sunday. Normal Practice and Spectator rates will apply.  This year, there is an overnight fee.  All proceeds for this go to the Child Abuse Council to further their cause with helping abused and exploited children.  You will pre-register using this link:  https://childabusecouncil.harnessgiving.org/events/612

The Child Abuse Council will also have your entertainment and food needs for the weekend.  They will be bringing in food trucks where a percent will be donated to the Child Abuse Council as well as raffles of Pro-Motocross memorabilia/collectables (examples: Signed pictures by Jeremy McGrath, Christian Craig, Chase Sexton, Ryan Villopoto, Cooper Webb, & Brandon Hartranft).  They will also have other things to raffle and a 50/50, an ALL American Contest and a bonfire.  They will also be doing a recyclable can drive for charity.  Again, all these proceeds that they collect will go to help children in need.

We will also be supporting a local Youth Center in White Cloud, MI, AX Arcade & Gaming Youth Center as well as LOVE INC.  The Youth Center is for the local Youth that come from low-income families and have very little. This is a place where they can hang out and local businesses supply pizza for the kids to eat and some personal items that the Youth may need. Volunteers come from local churches in the area to help run this.  LOVE INC. has the same needs for personal care items.  Although Feed America does a great job providing for their Food Bank, they just don't have the budget to supply these personal care items.   So, for every person that comes to our Practice 4 a Purpose 2 weekend and donates an item listed below, they will receive a FREE PRACTICE 4 A PURPOSE 2 T-SHIRT! We will only be giving out one t-shirt per person that donates (while supplies last) but don't let that stop you from giving what you can. Here are the items that are needed: Feminine hygiene products, hairbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, small laundry soaps, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, school supplies, new socks (boy & girl, variety of sizes), nail clippers, combs, & shaving supplies.

We are very excited to do this again for our community and know how awesome the BAM FAM is and are encouraged to see what we as a racing community can do.  Last year, you guys were so awesome, and we ended up with over 3 large tubs of items donated and sent 10 youth to summer camp at SpringHill.   Let's break that record!
